Post-Ticketing Service Fees

Post-ticketing service fees apply when assistance is required after a ticket has been issued. All fees listed below are per passenger, per ticket and are charged in addition to any airline or supplier-imposed penalties.

Agent-Assisted Waiver Requests

Fees apply when Tripinitiate.com assists in requesting airline waivers for special circumstances.

Waiver requests may be submitted for the following reasons (subject to airline approval):

Death or bereavement, medical emergencies, military deployment, infant-related issues, duplicate bookings, name changes or corrections, missed flights (no-show), ticket reinstatement, routing changes, ticket validity extensions, unaccompanied minor (UMNR), and visa-related issues.

Approval of waivers is entirely at the airline’s discretion.

Visa and Schengen Visa Guidelines – Ticket Refund Policy

Airline tickets booked through Tripinitiate.com are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refunds are permitted only when allowed by the airline’s fare rules or when a waiver is approved by the supplier.

To be eligible for consideration:

  • You must not be classified as a no-show
  • A valid waiver must be obtained from the airline
  • Supporting documentation (such as a visa denial letter) may be required

Tripinitiate.com cannot guarantee approval of refund requests related to visa or documentation issues.

Airline Refunds and Future Credits

All refunds and airline credits are governed strictly by airline fare rules, policies, and procedures. Service fees are displayed in your local currency at checkout and apply per passenger, per ticket, regardless of traveler type (adult, child, infant, student, senior, or military).

Please note:

  • Booking fees, post-ticketing service fees, and change or cancellation fees are non- refundable
  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice
  • Airline penalties are separate and additional
  • Government taxes and fees may vary, but you will only be charged the final amount confirmed at booking

Special Service Requests

Special services are processed only upon request and are subject to airline approval based on applicable rules and policies. Documentation may be required in the following cases:

  • Name Corrections: Ticket name must match passport or government-issued ID
  • Visa or Passport Denial: Official denial letter required
  • Baggage Issues: Retain baggage tags and receipts for claims
  • No-Show Cases: Written explanation and supporting documents required
  • Denied Boarding: Airline-issued documentation required
  • Duplicate Tickets: Copies of identical itineraries booked through Tripinitiate.com must be provided
